LENT
2010 LENTEN PROGRAM
Worship
Our Lenten Observances this year begin on Ash Wednesday,
February 17. We will celebrate the Eucharist with Imposition of Ashes at
7:00 am, 9:15 am, 4:30 pm and 7:30 pm. The 4:30 pm service is specifically
designed for families and young children—but all ages are welcome!
Study
Each Sunday there will be an Adult Forum led by either
Caitlin Foehse or Father Graham following the 9:30 am service beginning at
11:15 am and ending at 11:45 am.
Food for Body and Soul
This year our Lenten Dinner Discussion Series “How to live
faithfully in a Chaotic & Stressful World” is designed to reach out to our
people and support them in their daily lives and work. As we try to live our
lives centered in God and our Christian faith, we also acknowledge the
stress and anxiety pervasive in our culture that sometimes make that a
difficult task. Join us on Tuesday evenings in Lent for a soup supper and a
presentation by a different speaker each week. We will begin at 7:00 pm and
end by 8:30 pm; if you are able, please bring bread, cheese, a beverage or
fruit to share.
