FUNDRAISING EFFORTS
While actual dates have not been selected for all fund raisers, plans are already in the works for
several of our annual events. Please check our website periodically for updates and additional
TEA PARTY – April event
An afternoon filled with specialty teas, sandwiches, scones and desserts for the ladies. Great
conversation is accompanied by a guest speaker. Don’t forget to wear your hat!
SCRAP-A-RAMA – all day Saturday
This fund raiser continues to gain popularity, with 4 scrap-a-ramas held in the past 2 years.
Saturday, from 9am to 9pm, avid scrap bookers gather in a dedicated, quiet work setting to
organize their photos into works of art. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in the price of
GOLF OUTING & DINNER – June
Don’t miss the opportunity to play golf at Peddie, a beautiful, private course located in
neighboring Hightstown. A round of golf, cart and food are included. The day concludes with
dinner and lots of great prizes. We are thrilled that so many of our participants have become
YARD SALE – Held on Cranbury Day in September
Details will follow in the months to come as to how your unwanted “treasures” (no clothes,
please) can be turned into cash for our church. A crackerjack committee collects, prices and
sells items inside the parish hall on Cranbury Day. Items that do not sell are donated, combining
our fund raising and outreach efforts.
FANTASY AUCTION – October event
Our biggest event of the year combines fund raising with fun and fellowship. Donated “live” and
“silent” auction items are auctioned off while a multitude of “tricky tray” treasures are available
for all to win. Door prizes, finger food and desserts are included in a modest price of admission.
SCRIP PROGRAM – Ongoing
Introduced in 2011, the fund raiser allows you to purchase of gift cards to a wide variety of retail
stores, on line or through our designated coordinator. St. David’s, in turn, receives a percentage
of the cost of each gift card purchased! Last year alone, over $750 was raised! Please check
this out…...it’s a win-win situation!
Please consider signing up with, a socially responsible company that will supply electric or gas
to your current utility company, such as PSE&G. You can save money, do something good for
the environment and help St. David’s financially…..all while receiving the same delivery, service
